No Asterisks.

This morning, I woke up, the Spirit led me to Romans 8:38-39 and said, "there is no asterisk."

Not life.

Not death.

Not angels.

Not heavenly rulers.

Not principalities.

Not powerful people.

Nothing now.

Nothing in the future.

Nothing high.

Nothing low.

No law.

No church.

No preacher.

No saint.

No president.

No ain't.

Nothing. Can. Separate. Us. From. The. Love. Of. God. In. Christ. Jesus.

Nothing means nothing.

We keep putting an "except" when it comes to things and people we don't understand.

Nothing means nothing.

Every single generation has added a clause: homoantagoistic in this generation, anti-poverty last generation, white supremacist for multiple generations, misogynistic for multiple generations. We keep coming up with things and ways to claim that Other Christians are separated from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Nothing. Means. Nothing.

There is no asterisk.

I checked the Greek.

I checked the KJV.

I checked the NRSV.

I checked the NIV.

I checked the NET.

I checked the Message Bible.

I checked the Messianic Jewish Bible.

There is no asterisk.

Stop adding stuff to the Bible.

There is no asterisk.

Nothing means nothing.

No exceptions.

No asterisk.
